Gators blister the nets - hand Hogs worst loss in Bud Walton 98-68

The No. 14 Florida Gators hit 13 of 23 from behind the arc and used a 23-6 run to put the game out of reach in the first half - handing the Arkansas Razorbacks a 98-68 loss Saturday night.

The Billy Donovan led Gators led by as many as 32 in the contest.

The loss equalled the most points scored by an opponent in Bud Walton Arena history and the margin of the Gators win set a new mark for the worst loss in arena history.

The loss was also the first of the season at home for the Hogs after reaaling off a school record 17-straight.

Erving Walker led Florida (21-6, 9-3) with 31-points on 9-12 shooting from the field including 5-6 from 3-point land and a perfect 8-8 from the charity stripe.

Freshman BJ Young continued his impressive first season as a Razorback with a career high 31-points on 10-19 shooting.

A total of 50 fouls were called in the game making any type of flow impossible. Florida converted on those whistles to the tune of 29-34 from the free throw line.

Next up for Arkansas is a chance to right tonight's wrong at Bud Walton on Thursday night as Alabama comes to town.
